            Alex resolves a wide range of business disputes and civil fraud issues for commercial entities, private clients and local authorities either by court litigation, mediation or other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

            Alex works with clients to resolve disputes and issues in a pragmatic and commercial manner.

            Alex has experience in a varied mix of litigation and alternative dispute resolution for commercial entities, ultra-high net worth individuals, regulators and local authorities.

            He undertakes civil fraud and asset recovery work including the obtaining of freezing and proprietary injunctions in the High Court (including out of hours), as well as third party disclosure orders (plus ancillary gagging orders) in the investigation of fraud and the recovery of the proceeds of fraud.

            Alex also undertakes commercial and other litigation cases including: contractual disputes; shareholder disputes; defamation; breach of confidence; bankruptcy and debt recovery and professional negligence. In addition, he has experience in defending Judicial Review and other Administrative Court actions.

            Alex has appeared on behalf of the Petitioning Creditor in numerous bankruptcy hearings and for the Applicant in numerous interim and final Third Party Debt Order hearings. He also has extensive experience in company restorations and has conducted advocacy where required in the Companies Court. Alex obtained Higher Rights of Audience in 2012.

            Away from the officeAlex is a keen triathlete and can often be found swimming at a lido in South London, down at the velodrome or up in the mountains on his bike.
