          Institution of Civil Engineers Law and Contract Management Course

          DWF is the accredited provider for the Institution of Civil Engineers LCM exams in London. This course is made up of 10 evening sessions, being held on the 31st Floor of our 20 Fenchurch Street offices.

          Who should attend this course?

          This course is designed for all those involved or considering the use of the NEC4 in engineering and construction projects in the UK and internationally.  It is designed to be suitable for both public and private sector organisations, and is relevant for all those involved in NEC projects, from Employer side, consultancy practices, Contractors, Sub-Contractors and all those involved in the supply chain.  The course is tailored specifically to be inclusive of all practices and experience levels; taking delegates through the basics of Contract Law, the Law of Tort and NEC3/4 Contract Management.  If you are involved, or are looking to get involved in any NEC projects, this course is a must.                                                                                                                                

          The course follows the syllabus from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and sets up delegates to sit the ICE Law and Contract Management Exams (Module 1 and Module 2 in June 2019/20).  Successfully passing both exams provides delegates with the Certificate in Law and Contract Management, and allows them to the use the post-nominal CLCM.

          This course focus on Module 2 (NEC4 Contract Management) only.  It gives a practical and hands on approach to the management and administration of the NEC4.



          When is the course taking place?

          The course will commence in late October 2019 and run until May 2020, with exams in June 2020.  It takes place on Tuesday evenings from 18:30 – 20:30.  It is made up of 10 evening interactive seminars covering both Module 2 (NEC3/4).  Winter and Spring breaks are taken throughout the course.

          Course Fees

          Fees start from just £950 per delegate which includes; tuition, course materials and light refreshments during the sessions.

          Please note that this is not inclusive of the exams fees, these are to be made separately to the ICE.
