            Joanne has joined DWF as an advocate with a wealth of experience in dealing with a wide range of personal injury, disease, occupational health and costs matters.

            Joanne has significant experience of Defendant Insurance litigation work from years she has spent working at Halliwells LLP / Clyde & Co LLP for a Partner specialising in catastrophic injury work and laterally as an Employed Barrister at Keoghs LLP within the Disease Department.  Joanne received regular praise from insurer clients for her attention to detail as well as her ability to build and maintain insured client relationships.

            She is known for her niche expertise in Non Freezing Cold Injury claims, as well as disease types including NIHL, HAVS/VWF, CTS, asbestos and non-asbestos related lung conditions, RSI and food poisoning claims.

            Joanne completed pupillage and gained tenancy at Kenworthys Chambers in Manchester,  where she built a personal injury and costs practice encompassing a wide range of personal injury work including road traffic accidents, catastrophic personal injury, disease claims and a costs practice covering both written / oral advocacy in costs only proceedings and substantive proceedings, for example CCMCs.

            Combining her civil litigation experience and costs practice Joanne is able to provide representation for parties and advise clients at all stages of substantive proceedings and at all stages of costs-only proceedings.
