            Daniel Tresigne

            Advocate

            Daniel is a member of the Advocacy team, enjoying a highly varied practice across all areas relating to disease, injury, RTA law, police and prisons law and costs.
             

            Daniel joined DWF Advocacy in September 2018. Prior to joining DWF Advocacy, Daniel worked as a freelance County Court Advocate and also as an RTA Paralegal and Supervisor.

            Daniel is fast cementing his reputation as being both pragmatic and approachable, having a down to earth approach with solicitors and clients. Clients praise his commercially-relevant, pragmatic advice, as well as his commitment to talking through matters with handlers and clients, ensuring complete understanding on both sides.

            Building on his up-and-coming reputation for personal injury work, Daniel advises, increasingly, on the areas that this crosses over into employment law, most notably employers and public liability matters, such as those relating to accidents at work and NIHL. He is always keen to go the extra mile, dealing with other areas that are satellite in nature.

            Since starting his career, Daniel has taken on work of increasing complexity. He regularly attends complex CMCs and CCMCs, as well as intricate applications. Daniel also has experience dealing with small claims final hearing with involving Litigants in Person.

            Daniel has a particular interest in costs work, both in maximising returns and minimising outgoing. He has had experience in numerous cases valued in excess of £150,000, including some in excess of £1,000,000. He has also dealt with technical arguments regarding apportionment of costs between individuals and legal representatives.

            Daniel is a keen Formula 1 fan and has a more general interest in cars. He is also a keen amateur chef and enjoys practicing martial arts.
