          Steffen advises on complex insurance related matters, specialising in Directors & Officers (D&O) liability insurance, Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) insurance as well as in international product liability cases. He represents clients in German state courts and also in arbitration proceedings.
          Steffen has broad experience in German insurance related matters in Financial Lines and Commercial Lines insurances. Regardless of whether liability issues or coverage issues are of concern, Steffen offers well-founded opinions and pragmatic solutions to complex and often burdensome matters which clients are facing. 

          Due to his thorough insight in German corporate law and the German M&A market, Steffen is particularly capable of handling large D&O and W&I cases in Germany and also in a global context.

          Steffen has represented numerous insurer clients as well as policyholders in out-of-court negotiations and in state courts and arbitration proceedings. He puts emphasis on solving his client’s issues in a thorough, efficient and timely manner.

          Steffen’s practise encompasses a broad range of sectors with particular expertise in the banking sector, in telecommunication and in renewable energies.
