Although Helen's work also includes managing the prevention and reduction of risk, proactively, Helen has wide experience of handling court proceedings on behalf of my clients. She has been to the Court of Appeal many times, establishing new case law and pushing the boundaries in this field. An example of this is the case of Doherty -v- Rugby Joinery. She has also had numerous successes with limitation cases.
Helen advises insurers and defendants on all types of disease, employers and public liability claims including deafness, HAVS, asbestos related claims, silicosis and asthma.
She is client partner for Allianz Insurance, managing the firm's long-standing relationship with the organisation, as well as providing regular, sustainable advice on disease claims for the Department for Transport.
Outside of work Hannah is a befriender for the Methodist Housing Association's live at home scheme for the elderly and a keen cyclist and walker.
