Helen specialises in asset-based lending, corporate lending, real estate finance _ development and investment, restructurings and secured lending. She has in-depth expertise across the financial services, real estate and retail sectors. She acts for a mixture of borrowers and lenders includingFTSE-listed companies, various financial institutions and all the UK clearing banks.
In 2009 she was on secondment to Barclays as Head of Legal for the corporate bank for nine months. This gave her insight into working in house at a global corporation and an ongoing focus in working with in house counsel.
She has strong client relationship skills. This is reflected in her being client partner for one of the firm's key banking clients and the client development partner for corporate services.
She enjoys public speaking and regularly provides training and seminars for clients.
She has experience of transforming the delivery of legal services including process mapping, document automation, greater use of paralegals and project management tools. All of which DWF is embracing to make the banking team more efficient, consistent and cost effective for our clients.
She specialises in all aspects of lending, acting for both banks and corporate borrowers. She also has experience of transforming the delivery of legal services.
Outside work, Helen enjoys spending time with family and friends; reading and her book club; keeping fit (primarily running).
