        Anthony has vast experience of working for large housebuilders and, having been part of regional management teams at board level, has a detailed understanding of their business.

        Anthony has acted for a number of leading house builders including Taylor Wimpey, Bellway, Miller, Gladedale, Crest, David Wilson/Barratt, Bloor and Antler. He has acted for a number of Registered Social Landlords in the North and Midlands primarily Great Places Housing Association dealing with site acquisition and development, joint venture agreements, land and development agreements and the large scale acquisition of affordable units from housebuilders.

        Recent matters have included:

        • Acting for and advising the HCA with regard to the disposal of the Bickershaw Colliery regeneration scheme for residential and commercial development which should generate up to 500 new homes together with commercial units.
        • Acting for and advising Cornwall Council on its Cornwall Land Initiative involving the acquisition and packaging of sites into portfolios for residential use throughout the County involving a number of repeat phased disposals over the next few years and assisting with the disposal of school sites by the Council.
        • Advising Gladedale Group Holdings Limited and attending to the disposal of substantial portfolios of freehold reversion sites to investors including notice under Section 5 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1987.
