            Partner

Anita is a Partner in the Real Estate team acting for developers and corporate occupiers as well as dealing with renewable energy and sustainability matters.

Anita deals with commercial, student and residential development, strategic land (including promotion agreements), site assemblies and lettings as well as renewable energy projects and sustainability issues.

Anita acts for a number key clients and is viewed as a trusted adviser and a key member of her clients' teams. She is able to cut through legal jargon for her clients to ensure that they receive the right level of detail in terms of advice, whether it's a complex new development or major letting.

Anita is increasingly involved in advising on sustainability issues, particularly the impending restrictions on lettings of energy inefficient buildings which will impact on every single player in the real estate industry. She also deals with renewable energy projects, including solar farms and roof top leases and is able to give clients support in new and interesting areas that are becoming increasingly important in the real estate industry as a whole.

Anita is the relationship manager for Peel Holdings (who she advises on investment and development projects as well as providing support to the utilities division), Gladman Developments and the Port of Mostyn. She acted for KPMG in the relocation of their Manchester office and for Swinton Insurance in their move to their new head office. Both transactions were the largest lettings in the area at the time.

Anita is ranked as a leader in her field in Legal 500 and heads up the Manchester Real Estate team.
