            DWF advises global stock business Alamy on acquisition by PA Media Group

            DWF's Corporate team provided legal advice to Alamy, in a transaction which sees the PA Media Group enter the stock imagery market for the first time.

            The acquisition supports PA Media Group's long-term strategy to diversify its business and consolidate its position as the UK's leading provider of cross-platform news, sports and entertainment data, content and services.

            Alamy was advised by a team of lawyers from DWF led by Corporate Partner Alasdair Outhwaite, with a team comprising of Katy Philips (Corporate), Ciara Healy (Corporate) and Caroline Colliston (Tax).

            The deal follows a series of significant transactions for DWF, with a combined value totaling £1.5bn in the six months to 31st October 2019. The transactions demonstrate the continuing strength of deal flow in DWF's key business sectors – Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Food and Hospitality, Technology, Energy & Industrials, Public Sector, Real Estate and Transport.
