           Employment tribunal fees unlawful: In a case backed by Unison, the Supreme Court has ruled that it was unlawful for the government to make employees pay an issues fee to commence employment tribunal actions. View

          Retailers criticised over underage knife sales: The Local Government Association has criticised the performance of retailers in selling knives to under 18’s in test purchasing exercises. View

          Independent review of building regulations and fire safety: The Department for Communities and Local Government has commissioned Dame Judith Hackitt to complete an independent review in the light of Grenfell. View

          Brexit Developments

          Department for International Trade policy speech on free trade: Secretary of State Rt Hon Liam Fox has delivered speech in the US on free trade and also held working group discussions around a trade agreement. View

          European Parliament comment on 2nd round Brexit negotiations: The Brexit sub group of the European parliament led by Guy Verhofstadt has commented on the second round of negotiations. View

          Scottish and Welsh Governments meet to discuss Brexit: The Scottish and Welsh First Secretaries have met to discuss their positions on the Repeal Bill and negotiation process. View
